PCBA is owned and operated by Veterinary Technicians and Assistants with over 25 years of combined experience with specific expertise in Emergency & Critical Care, Oncology & Internal medicine. When it comes to your pet's health, wellness, and safety, you can trust our team to provide the utmost care and attention they deserve.

Our mission is to provide exceptional pet care that is professional, reliable and compassionate. Your pets are cherished members of both your family and the PCBA family, and we are dedicated to treating them as such.

Our team has been meticulously chosen and carefully selected to ensure our clients peace of mind and exceptional service, when your animal is in our care. We pride ourselves on fostering trust and building genuine relationships with both pets and their owners. Our goal is to create a calm and enjoyable experience for your pets, so that they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for.

Anna | Founder & CEO

Anna, Founder and Owner of Pet Care by Anna was born and raised in Connecticut. She was an avid volunteer at her local animal shelter throughout her entire high school career and was involved in over 30 rescue events. She graduated college in 2011 after playing 4 years of collegiate softball with a double major. She started her Veterinary Medicine journey right away in a general practice hospital near her hometown of Waterford CT. After a few years, she transitioned into Specialty medicine including Emergency, Radiation Oncology, and Medical Oncology. Since 2017 she found her true department of passion which is Emergency & Critical Care and has brought her compassion for owners and patients to this company. She created PCBA to provide owners with comfort knowing that their family members are being taken care of by true professionals. In her free time she enjoys traveling, spending time with her two nephews, trying out new restaurants with Stephanie and enjoying life with her three rescue pets (Valentina Rose- French bulldog, Armani Emile- French Bulldog and Ariel Marie- Bombay).

Stephanie | Co-owner & COO

Stephanie, Co-Owner, was born and raised in the boogie down Bronx. She graduated college in 2011 after majoring in animal Science and immediately started working in a general practice veterinary hospital. After switching to specialty medicine, she fell in love with internal medicine and has worked in this department ever since. After meeting Anna in 2016, they decided to join forces and create an elite dog walking and pet sitting company now known as PCBA. She is our scheduling guru and truly what holds this company together. When she is not working, she enjoys sleeping in with her cat Ariel Marie, going to concerts and hanging out with family and friends!

Cabrina | Operations Manager

Cabrina started with us in August of 2021! She is a Greenwich & Norwalk Native, who has been working in the pet care industry & veterinary medicine for 15 years!She has a wide range of experience starting from her time as a volunteer at the Maritime Aquarium and the Stamford Animal Shelter. She has worked at many local veterinary clinics as a veterinary assistant and now currently works in the emergency department at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists. In her free time she loves to hike, attend concerts, festivals, and travel!

Jillian | Assistant Operations Manager

Jillian started with us in July of 2022. She is one of our main midday walkers and also helps with overnight slumber parties and many of our evening walks!

She has been involved in the veterinary field since she was 14 years old ranging from kennel assistant, receptionist, veterinary assistant and even an animal control officer!She enjoys spending time with her family and participating in Dog Shows/Sports on the weekends. We are thrilled to have her join the PCBA team!

Caitlin

Caitlin joined us in the late summer of 2021! She has over 6 years of experience in the veterinary field ranging from speciality medicine to general practice all the way from California to Connecticut. When she's not caring for furry loved ones, she enjoys traveling and hiking with her pup, Ace. Caitlin helps us out with overnight stays and occasional cat visits!

Angelica

Angelica started with us in February of 2022!
She started her career off as a kennel attendant at a general practice in her hometown and even worked at a doggie daycare for 4 years. Although the daycare was fun, she knew she wanted to focus more on the medical side of the veterinary world. She now works at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists where she has extensive experience in emergency medicine and now specializes in ophthalmology. Whenever she's not at work, or pet sitting, she is usually with her family, traveling to Disney, or out hiking/going on adventures with her own pup!

Nury

Nury started with us in April of 2022!
She has worked in the veterinary industry for 6 years. She has experience as a kennel attendant, veterinary assistant, and veterinary technician. Her interests/experience include: emergency, cardiology, oncology, and as of recent; now works at an exotic specialty hospital. When she is not working, she likes to spend time with her cats, Clyde and Mable and visit her other cats, dog, and chickens! You can find her at festivals or concerts on her free time or whenever she isn’t overnight dogsitting!

Erin

Erin started with us in January of 2021! Her love of animals started from a very young age and has grown ever since! She has a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts. Upon graduating, Erin worked as a Veterinary Assistant for over 4 years. Erin helps us with overnights, cat visits and dog walking. Erins bubbly personality is contagious and we are so lucky to have her join the team!

Bryan

Bryan started with us since January 2023! He has worked in the veterinary field since 2016 and currently works in the surgery department at a local speciality hospital right here in Stamford! He is a lover of all dog breeds and especially loves the feline friends! In his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities, playing sports or working on his car. We are very excited to have him join the team!

Nur

Nur Started with us in January of 2024. She graduated from Alfred University in Biology with a concentration in pre-vet . She has been working in Vet Med since 2017 and started off volunteering at various animal shelters and general practices. She is now working as a newly graduated veterinary nurse in oncology at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists. In her free time she enjoys dancing, going out to eat, a good movie night and expressing herself with a bright wardrobe! We are so happy to have her join the team!

Cherisse

Cherisse started with us in September of 2024.

Cherisse is an assistant animal shelter director, veterinary assistant/tech, and laboratory operations consultant on a mission to improve diagnostic testing applications in veterinary medicine. She has worked in the veterinary/animal care industry since 2015 and

has always had an interest in veterinary medicine from a young age. Her goal is to ensure that even the smallest of critters receive the highest level of care. To prepare for veterinary school, Cherisse has acquired animal and research exposure during undergrad and graduate school, as well as working at various laboratories, rescues, shelters, and hospitals. Outside of work, Cherisse enjoys reading, spontaneous trips, and yummy vegan foods!

Yuliana

Yuliana started with us in June 2024. She is a recent Uconn graduate with a degree in animal science . She has been working in the animal field since 2019 and plans to pursue her dream of being a veterinarian in the coming years. In her free time she enjoys going to concerts, weight lifting, traveling and spending time at the beach or with her pup Bella. We are excited to see her grow with us!

Darren

Darren started with us in December of 2023!

He has been working with animals for a little over twenty years and has been in the veterinary field since 2020! He currently works full time at a general practice veterinary hospital in Stamford .On his free days, he likes to pretend he is a chef and experiment in the kitchen, play some video games or hit the road for a fun and wild food adventure! He is a sweet soul who truly loves being with all of the animals and we are so glad we have him on our team!

Yasmine

Yasmine started with us in May 2024. She has worked in multiple general practices throughout her career and Emergency medicine as well. She was inspired to work with animals after a family trip to Puerto Rico, where she experienced the deep compassion the locals had for the animals there. Her dream one day is to retire in PR and open an animal shelter. She has 2 pups of her own and two kitties. In her free time she enjoys hiking and visiting the city. We are lucky to have her join the team!

Alexandria

Alexandria started with us May 2024. Alex moved to the area in the fall of 2023. She graduated with a veterinary science degree and has been working in veterinary medicine since 2017. During her free time she enjoys traveling to new places, binge watching a new show and spending time with friends and family. Make sure to say hello to her around town especially if she is outside with her pup Bowser!

Marquetta

Marquetta started working with us in September of 2023. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2018 primarily in Emergency. She has a deep passion for the care and well-being of all animals. On her days off, she enjoys spending time with her two very energetic Dalmatians Nardo and Dravit. She is also very creative and designs custom rugs! So cool! We are very lucky to have her!

Eloise

Eloise started with us in June of 2024. She has had a love for animals since she was a young girl and was always around dogs, cats, chickens and aquatics. She graduated from Connecticut College with a bachelors in biological sciences where she will continue her pre-vet journey. Throughout college, she volunteered with the local aquarium and small animal veterinarians within the community. She now works for a general practice animal hospital in Fairfield County and helps us out with overnight care and cat sitting! In her free time she loves to go sailing, swim, hike and travel!

Janine

Janine started with us in September of 2024. Her passion for animals and their well being started when she was a young child. She has owned a wide variety of dog breeds and cats growing up and her love for the veterinary field became her career in 2022 when she started working in the radiology and oncology departments at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists. She is currently in school to earn her Veterinary Technician degree and hopes to specialize in radiology. During her free time she enjoys being outdoors, cuddling her cats, exploring new places and playing video games. We are thrilled to have her join our team!

Valentina | Head of Human Resources

Valentina Rose is the perfect pup for such a demanding job. She is not only street smart, but she finished top in her academic class at 203DogLife Summa cum Laude. Any issues that arise, she is committed to finding a solution and making sure all of our PCBA staff knows how much we love them with daily kisses. She won't kiss too much though....she's very mindful, very thoughtful....very Demure.

Armani | Head of Security

Armani started with us in 2022 and was quickly promoted to Head of Security. His loyalty to PCBA has exceeded all expectations and has learned many of his expert tactics from his sister Valentina. He has a glare that can make a criminal weep and when on patrol, even the squirrels in the park think twice about venturing too close or misbehaving. Safety is his number one priority to all of our PCBA pups and family. He is so good at his job we are starting to wonder if he is secretly a retired Navy SEAL.
